Rated 5 out of 5 byDC from I would definitely buy this againThis KVM switch replaced another brand that was constantly misbehaving (losing mouse or keyboard functionality, locking up, shared USB port not working). To date, this KVM switch from Tripp-Lite has worked flawlessly! I haven't experienced any of the issues that had plagued the previous vendor's switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDC from I use this daily, and it works great! This is the second brand of KVM Switch that I've used, and it has exceeded my expectations. It switches from one PC to the next seemlessly, and the USB port sharing works great. Great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 byvideodavey from Great unit; should include cablesThis switch replaced one from another manufacturer that would not work. Our rep from local electronics supply co. came out with this unit while I was out. Got back and was surprised it doesn't come with cables but cost $40+ more than the other one. But the important thing is IT WORKS GREAT.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMarkC from Great KVMThe Short Story If you want a great 4 port KVM buy this as it is small and built with very solid construction. The plus is if you want it to work with a wireless keyboard and mouse order the IOGEAR Wireless and Keyboard Mouse Combo (model GKM552R). The Long Story I had an IOGEAR KVM 4 port switch which I really liked as it had physical switches for computer selection and scanning (hotkeys are a pain to remember) and it just worked great. The bonus was that it worked with my HP Elite wireless keyboard and mouse perfectly and from what I know now was just luck as wireless keyboards and mice are not a great mix with a KVM. Well eventually the mouse did not work and later the keyboard keys became flakey and I so I thought no problem I will update the keyboard and mouse with a new HP Elite II keyboard and mouse. Well that would not work with the KVM and so through testing I realized that it was the IOGEAR KVM that was failing but after many years of faithful service no big deal. So I ordered the Tripp Lite B006-VU4-R 4-Port Desktop KVM Switch (USB) and I liked it very much sans the lack of physical scan button. The bad news was that when I tried to use the HP Elite II keyboard and mouse it would not recognize it no matter how much I tried. I had to use the old Elite Keyboard and a Microsoft Arc mouse through a separate USB dongle but that had the limitation of it would literally reload make that the noise as though I had unplugged the USB from the device I was switching from (annoying). Finally let me tell you the computers connected to the KVM. They are a Dell Desktop OptiPlex 980, a Mac Mini 2007 (yes old and in process of replacing), and a docked Lenovo ThinkPad T430s. All are working flawlessly as I write this. If there is any update to my experience I will update this review. Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by86themachine from DONT BUYDon't buy this unit. It has given me nothing but headaches. Keyboard does not work in USB keyboard port. I have a Rosewill keyboard RK9100xB and it will not work with this KVM unless plugged into the mouse console port. When I plug the mouse in the keyboard port the mouse is very slow and does not respond to driver changes to speed up the tracking. The power cable on this KVM does not fit properly into the receptacle and is constantly shutting off. I will be sending this product to trash very soon but before I do I will beat it with a hammer and that will be the only satisfaction this piece of junk has given me.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJon from Great Product!I searched for a KVM to meet my needs and I can say without qualification that this may be the best switch on the market at its price point. Works as advertised and I have had no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMatt (IT for USPS) from Works great but with small annoyancesThe product works as advertised. No problems. The annoyance I have is that I work in an environment where I frequently have to boot from the network using F12. This is done during the bios/post startup. The Tripp-Lite product, however, puts a black screen mask over startup so you don't see anything until the Windows splash screen. You just have to hope that any manipulation you do while in startup is correct because you can't see it.

Rated 5 out of 5 byPKL from Works well as expected, but needed cablesHave used your products for many years with success. This KVM works well and was much needed in my server room to view & control the servers. Wish I'd have ordered it sooner. The only drawback was that I didn't note when ordering that our standard 'male' end VGA cables coming from the servers would not work. Needed to purchase some 'gender changer' adapters to plug in to the KVM / video cables.
