I've never had a printer that couldn't just pull documents without ruining them!

It was a constant irritation and I almost didn't buy another Brother because of that and the lack of help from support. However, the L2750 has been great, other than occasionally when the print will appear faint. Don't use the fax or scanner, but love that I can print both side and that it's wireless. Inexpensive and reliable printer is like my loyal sidekick - always there and working every day!

And swapping out the Drum Roller. Twice. And having to wait over a month for the second Drum Roller to be available. And the time to drive the printer to an Authorized Repair Shop. That didn’t have ANY parts to accurately diagnose the problem. VERY disappointing.

I have it set up as a network device, and it works flawlessly: excellent prints with superb grays, fast, sharp, etc., But... it has an absolute idiotic "process" of hand-feeding documents: move the unit from the wall, open front gate, open back gate, lower two well hidden minuscule green thumb levers, hand feed the form, go back to your computer, press "print", go back to printer pickup the printed document, and repeat in reverse the initial "procedure". Since we are using this printer for a small, yet busy home office, we came up with a solution: we revived our old IBM Selectric! (For those of you born after 1980, this is a "typewriter" - look it up on Wikipedia).

There is a feeder slot in which to put envelopes one at a time but the printer usually reads anything in this slot as a paper jam. So you have to take the paper tray out then feed an envelope (but only after you have cleared the non-existent paper jam. After going through all that, the envelopes are permanently and oddly creased, so much so that actually using them to mail anything to a client would be an embarrassment to my business. So I have to use a completely different device for envelopes. Except for the envelopes, the printer is everything I hope for.

This one is spectacularly easy to use - once shown how - and easier to like. It scans easily to PDFs, prints and copies like a dream. Quiet and smooth. Called for help installing first new cartridge, which they’d advised in the beginning when I signed up for automatic cartridge renewal. They were correct. Highly unlikely could change the cartridge with form provided and otherwise unaided. Phone assistance excellent.

We should have gone with the more expensive model. This machine you have to restack checks in reverse order to print, and only one manual feed at a time. Not quite what we need for this office.

The printer mangles envelopes unless you open the back of the printer and pull down two switches. This is awkward for routine printing. Secondly software changes such as deleting or adding printers is very cumbersome and not user friendly. Brother could substantially improve the software interface.

No hassles, easy setup, copies and scans great and it is extremely fast. Quick warmup time also and it does not trip my house breaker as several other laser printers seem to do. This is the perfect all in one machine for a home office. And replacement cartridges are readily available and reasonably priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for a older unitI needed to replace a older Brother model that had a unfixable failure, ran it through tech support and it was cheaper to deep six the old unit.This unit is almost exactly the same as the original model except one huge improvement which is a small color touch screen to replace the horrible and hard to see dot matrix type of screen.I had no issues with setup and operation so far.When this unit pukes I probably will get another Brother copier.

Manual tray is very small to hold more than few pages and once when i printed, took all the pages inside. Trying to find more info on manual tray but could not find it. As long as the drum lasts the expected number of prints, i will be satisfied.

The small compact design does not take up too much office space. It has all the features I need to send faxes, scan documents, make document copies as well as print documents. The Brother iPrint & Scan feature is very user friendly and a great feature for this system.

Does what it's suppose to do.Con: Fax operation required phone line to be connected to fax first and phones to be connected on the phone output on printer. Otherwise, fax wouldn't transmit with an error of to much line noise. Don't use the fax that much, though.

Otherwise it won't print. All other printers I owned that wasn't an issue. Also, I would prefer that it default to single side printing. It auto-two side prints.

It has begun to print inconsistently, in that sometimes copies look normal and other times they are extremely faded. I have had numerous contacts with customer support and they have come to the conclusion that I probably have a defective drum. Replacing the drum costs nearly as much as the printer, and (of course!) the warranty has expired. I also spent a lot of money on a replacement ink cartridge that now I can't use, because I initially thought that I was simply running low on ink. Brother has given me no option but to buy another printer, which will NOT be from their company. Very disappointed.

Coming from an inkjet that took about 30 seconds to warm, this laser printer took about 3 seconds! The print quality is top notch and the duplex printing works great. The only minor issue I'm having is getting the printer to show up on my local network. I have another model of Brother laser printer that popped right up so not sure whats going on. I'm in the the process of getting tech support though so we'll see.

The features were easy to setup and work great. The printer is always available. I also have an iPhone that takes no setup at all; I just select Print and my print comes out perfectly.

The issue continued when supplied with a refurbished model. I have used brother printers for 10 years without issue. I am extremely disappointed by the quality and lack of a fix on something under warranty.

I love this feature even though I don't use it that often. Thus, I have to read up on it every time. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Network connections issues - TelusT3200M modemThe MFCL2750DW is in a compact form factor and has all the features you would probably want in a multi-function printer: fax, OCR, print, scan, etc. It has been very handy, indeed! However, I don't want to use WIFI. When connecting it with ethernet to the Telus T3200M modem/router, it is not fully compatible. It's been an exhaustive effort to get it to connect with the T3200M even with Brother support. Once the power is turned off the T3200M and then turned on, there is no printer connection. The arduous process of going through multiple steps to get it to re-establish communication is then necessary. I have asked Brother to update the printer firmware but since they have not heard from others about this issue, their response currently is “no”. I have tried to resolve this issue by trying a second MFCL2750DW and another T3200M to no avail. Telus, unfortunately, can do nothing, except replace the modem.

It's my first wireless home printer, which has been phenomenal, compared to the inkjet from around 2006 we've been using. The printing is quick, even when printing double sided. Double-sided scanning doesn't break any speed records, but it works using the document feeder and eliminates the frustration of flipping each page. The flatbed scanner also works very well and takes great scans. I am very very pleased with this printer and have no regrets. The initial starter toner cartridge goes pretty fast, so be sure you have a new full toner cartridge ready to go when you purchase this unit.

Not sure if i am more disappointed with product or with service i received from local, Abt Electronic Store, that i purchased with? Purchased extended warranty. Tried to call Brother support, and they are using Covid excuse not to pick thee phone. Waited for a half hour and disconnected?Suddenly printer can not connect to my network, and PC next it is connected? Then it ask for network password again and again?? after entering password receive message that is connected, but can not find PC?? PC still connected? Then sometimes after "receiving data" message it would show message "data in memory" and would not print??Not even to mention that was told that printer is coming with full cartridge, for about 1300 pages, we printed not even 500 (one package of paper is 500 sheets) and already show message that printer is low on toner.Stay away from this model

In details: wireless print, copy, scan, and fax features have been working great. Regarding fax function, after fax went through, I wish it gave me a hard copy report instead of time stamp showed up on top of small screen.

Once, the print on a scanned document came out oversized at about 400%, but all other scans look fine. The set up was fairly easy. My laptop doesn't have a cd-drive, so I had to find the printer on the website to download the updated driver. Also, to use the scanner, I usually have to go to Settings/printers/ then select the printer; then manage the printer; and switch from printer to scanner mode. It works well.

Got home and my 10 year old Samsung bit the dust so I bought another one. I take a laptop with me so I’d loaded all the Brother software and configured it for the Vacation home. The configuration at my main home is a bit different and it was a bit of a pain to get everything working, but all is good. I’m writing this review after owning 2 of these printers less than 3 months... so I can’t speak to longevity, but basic functionality seems great.

We print infrequently and the ink jet was always clogged with dried ink. This Brother all-in-one prints the first time every time and the quality of the printed page is superb. As an unexpected bonus, this machine has paper handling that can print directly on 3x5 cards.I would have bought a color laser but the all-in-one color machines are too tall for the only place I have to put it.

They were well over 10 years old so when I moved I decided to buy a new one rather than moving them. This one is smaller and less expensive so I guess I should have understood that it wouldn't be as good. I was just hoping that since it was 10 years newer, it would be able to be fast without being humongous. Nope. It is not as fast as the 8460 and the scanner isn't quite as good. But-- it is still pretty fast and it is worth it to me to give up a little bit in order to have a printer I can move easily by myslef.

The prints are clean and, if it is not a complicated print job, are produced within a reasonable timeframe. The downside is tat Brother seems to have loaded it with more functionality and software than it can handle. Scans always take time as the printer warns me that I need to have the software installed before it can process the job. After a minute or so, it figures out that the software is there. Wireless is a joke. I tried to set it up and it obliterated a number of my own online functions including using Chrome as my default browser which took Dell and then Google over an hour to figure out (I couldn't retrace the steps and I work in tech. I gave up on wireless after that even though I have free support from Best Buy. So, in the end, this is a printer and a somewhat laborious scanner and that's all.

I love the ADF and when using my my Adobe PDF Pro software, it's very easy to combine pages, remove blank pages, and so on. Copying is also a nice feature when needed. Customer service is great. While on the phone to figure out a duplexing/simplexing file I was working on, they were there for me. I figured it out while on hold but the Tech was there trying to find the answer and letting me know he's still working on my question. I am sure if there is a problem I cannot figure out, they will do whatever it takes to solve the problem.I do wish I could have afforded the color model of this machine, but for my budget, this MFC-L2750DW works just fine! As long as it hold up for quite a few years, I will be buying the newer model to replace it! And the machine even looks great!The only thing that bugs me a little bit is there are a bunch of options as to which software program to go into to do the project I am working on. But I am starting to get the hang of it.Thanks, Brother for a great machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first Laser Printer, so far, so good!My HP All in one inkjet died after only a year so I needed a new printer and didn’t want to buy another HP and did not want to fool around with expensive inkjet cartridges or messy refills so decided to give this printer a shot. I was a bit wary because it was not color but I always ended up running out of black ink first with my ink jet printers so I gave it a go. I must say I don’t miss not being able to print in color, this printer so far appears to be fast, efficient and produces quality black and white prints. I’ll probably never go back to an ink jet printer.

Have had brother mfc for decades and always pleased. This new one has all the latest features and works great and the included software covers the waterfront. Printing without a cable to the printer, fax, many scanning document options. Cant say enough good things about brother. Have always used genuine brother toner, a little more but zero malfunctions. I chatted with Brother (total of over 4 hours and the installed firmware which fixed the problem. This is not a new issue - read other reviews. Why don't they fix these machines before they ship? Is there a good reason?

I set up shortcuts for both single & double sided scanning as I use these features daily. I only wish the speed was faster but not a deal breaker. You can scan and upload school work DIRECTLY to google docs which is great for my household because I have two kids that were (and probably will be again on google classroom. Only negative I have found is that I wish it printed in color. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.

What would be the purpose of a firmware update for something that works flawlessly? I can only think of one reason to mess it up! I will buy a product that cannot be updated next time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This has been a great addition to our home officeSetup was simple and it connected to our wireless network easily which was a huge plus : We've not had any issues with its operation or features yet. We don't do any fancy with it, I'm sure we're not using all its capability but we scan, copy and print and it does just great. I had a dedicated scanner on our computer and i've simply put that away now and saved some desk space as the printer has done all we've asked of it. We love the double sided printing as my daughter needs that feature for school homework sometimes. So I have nothing negative to say about the printer yet.

Wireless networking has worked well for laptop hardwired through network to desktop. Scans well on both doc feeder single or double sided and on glass.

The MFC-L2707-DW I bought died a couple of weeks out of warranty. The two MFC-L2750-DW both have document feeder issues from day one. It never feeds straight, so my copies and scans are askew. I never had these issues with the large Brother multi-function printers, but as I replaced them with the new smaller units, the quality is lacking.

Was looking for a multi-functional, scanner, wireless, black and white printer and this one fit the features and specs. No issues setting up multiple devices to print wireless or navicating throught the touch-screen menu. Nor were there too much issues setting up cloud printing Will say that you'll have to put some effort in famliarize yourself with how the printer works, as its not as simple, coming from a personal inkjet or as straight-forward when using a typical corporate network printer

However, I didn't do a lot of printing and my ink would always dry up and the jets would always clog. Then, I decided to try a laser printer with toner cartridges instead of inkjets. My computer brand company suggested the Brother printers as being some of the best laser printers. I am now so happy with my new laser printer! The print jobs come out very nice, crisp, and clean!!

With a bit of troubleshooting I got it to print. The only negative I can think of is its inability to use a 5GHZ network. That makes no sense.

I had used a 2450DW at my office for a while, but I wanted to be able to scan and print two sided documents.The printer itself is pretty solid and it has amazed me how intricate these devices have been engineered, with all sorts of weird shaped plastic pieces inside that fit together just so. Networking was simple. I plugged it in, assigned an address and my PC saw it without any special configuration. I personally prefer to download fresh and use just the printer driver by itself on my PC, without all the side apps. But I did setup a Windows VM with all the extra apps, so that I could check them out and update the firmware. The extra apps are nice and I especially like the de-skew scanning option and using OCR for scanning to searchable PDF files. It's a HUGE time saver for finding documents later using Windows/OneDrive search.The software has always worked well for me, whether it's on my iPad, home PC, work PC and even printing and scanning from my iPhone. I use OneDrive and Office 365 and everything just works as expected.But my reason for writing this review is that 2 months after I purchased this printer, I had some trouble with the 2 sided print function jamming. I called customer support in the middle of the day and they said they were experiencing high call volumes. I waited on hold for maybe 5 minutes and the tech I talked to not only spoke clear English, she was also courteous and got straight to point without running through extra trouble shooting like some other companies do. I thought I might have to spend an hour on the phone tinkering with feeder wheels or poking and prodding the internals of the printer, but after 3 paper jams in a row, the tech had me read off the serial number and start the process to ship me a replacement printer.In summary, after using Brother printers for 4 years now, I am very satisfied with my overall experience.

I looked at brother products for many years waiting for the right model and a good price, and I found it. I decided to get this model that has the touchscreen because it looked great and I found it operates just as well. i am most excited about the scanning to my computer and cloud storage. The document feeder and paper tray are perfect for my personal and home office needs. The only thing I wish it had was extra buttons to back up the touchscreen.

Does not automatically wake up when you print. If printer is connected to a computer, wi-fi feature does not work. 2-sided printing is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love all of the features!I purchased this printer in March, right after COVID quarantine. This printer has been used as printer, copier, scanner, and scan to email. I’m homeschooling my student, so it’s held up to large copying and printing jobs. The first print cartridge didn’t last long. I replaced with a second cartridge right away. But that cartridge didn’t seem to last too long either. Maybe about a month. So, I’m on my third cartridge. I try to purchase a cartridge ahead of time to have on hand. I made a big boo boo with this last cartridge. I slid the lever on the drum, but didn’t put it back correctly, so my prints started coming out with blotches and smeared lines. I looked up the problem online, and solved my own error. Now my prints are beautiful again. The only thing I may do on next purchase, is buy a color laser printer. Others noted that printer disconnects from internet. That has not happened to me yet. And I live rural with horrible internet. So, at this point, I would DEFINITELY recommend this printer.

As a network engineer i appreciate the functionality improvements.The print quality is very good and it prints fast. The scanner works very well too. I have not tried faxing yet but anticipate that it would work well too. There is an app available that works well but wish it would work with additional email systems. It natively supports Gmail but it would be nice if I could get my Comcast email to print as well.When it comes to laser printers, Brother is my first choice.

Retired and had to purchase several office machines for home and was doubtful I would get a quality printer at a reasonable price. Touch screen is a nice addition though menus take a little getting used to. Printing is fast and good quality. Useful software. Duplex scanning is a great feature. I've only had this for a couple of months and will update review if necessary.

I found setting up and using the direct wifi feature a bit confusing, but eventually got it to work. However I have moved it close enough to the computer that will use it most so that a direct wire connection can be made.

Fast start up, quality output, and scan utility is solid both using the feeder and the flatbed. holds a nice size stack of paper and appears to be a good value although I’m only about 200 pages into the cartridge that shipped with the unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer but several surprising problemsThe printer produces good quality prints, prints on both sides, and the graphic user interface is pretty intuitive. The control panel on the printer could be bigger, as its a bit hard to read. I noted two problems. To prints envelopes or other thick or irregular items, you are expected to get into the back of the printer, open a hatch, and flip two green levers. This is not only awkward, but is not covered in the manual; I had to call customer service. In addition, when you flip the levers, it changes the print path resulting in the items emerging from what is for m the back of the printer. I have to lean way over and try to extract it (same problem for flipping the green levers.Another weakness is that the manual feed slot on the front only will take one sheet. If I decide to use the slot, I have to print one page at a time and keep reloading the slot (I say slot because there is no feed tray, which would be greatly more convenient.)

My recommendation is to let it run all updates for both the printer and your computer. Once we did this, the system has worked well. I print from my Samsung Note 9, wireless from my laptop, my kids can print from their Amazon Fire tablets as long as we are all on the same network. Toner is easy to replace.

The scanner/computer connection occasionally interrupts for no apparent reason requiring a reloading of the device and resetting the router connection. Finally, when the toner ran out the machine would not recognize the new cartridge, which renders the machine unusable for anything other than scanning (manually, unless you can get the wireless connection to work. To top off all of this, I have called the support line numerous times trying to get to a support agent, but after over an hour of waiting each time I gave up. I will try again. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL! IT DOES NOT WORK RELIABLY.

BUT, and this is why I took off a star, often, the document feeder skews pages slightly to one side. I carefully put in the pages, even 1 page, making sure it or they are straight going it, but most of the time, the scanned pages are off. Sometimes, I want to send a scanned application of a proposal. It looks less than professional when the pages are not straight. I looked in vain for another machine that does all these things and decided to keep it. BUT, I am often frustrated by this one aspect.

My L2750DW replaced my 8480DN which I had for almost 10 years. Easy to set up and install the Linux drivers for both printer and scanner functions using their installer program. I only wish I could update the firmware from Linux when USB connected. My L2740DW is network connected and I can update its firmware.

Text is often at a slight angle and checks print in the same spot they do if they are loaded into the regular paper tray.

The network needs to be "reset" quite often. Even if the printer is connected via USB it won't print unless the network is functioning.The scanner function is terrible. It doesn't scan to the edge of the scan bed, making all but useless for checks or photos. It scans only full page, you can't select an area like you can with other manufacturers. It is a very frustrating machine. If you only scan and print full page documents and don't mind the constant network connection issues, it is a good machine. Otherwise it isn't worth the trouble. I wouldn't buy this again.

I purchased it last night but did not purchase additional toner. The documentation states that the starter toner cartridge was supposed to have approximately 700 sheets of printing, but I did not even get 400 sheets printed before it ran out of ink. This is completely unacceptable! Purchased this from Office Depot and their website said that it included a full capacity toner in the box which it did not. I did not expect to have to purchase a new toner the first 2 hours I used the printer. This will be going back to the store and I will be purchasing another brand.

However, on my last printer, the top feeder began to feed just slightly crooked. I'd had the printer for several years, so I decided I'd just buy the newest model and keep the other printer as back-up. Well, the to feeder on the brand new model ALSO feeds slightly crooked. I had someone come out and fix it, and it was better for a while. But now it's back to crooked again. Very disappointing, but overall, still a great model.

The original set up (getting it connected to my home network was a chore. Getting my network to easily connect to the printer was a problem, but I was eventually able to get it working. It's been super reliable and the print/scan quality is very good. I tried doing some high resolution scanning of photo prints and found that it doesn't do as good a job as a dedicated flatbed scanner, but that's not its designated strength. I love the fact that the paper tray holds A LOT of paper and the automatic document feeder handles more than the previous printers I had and seems to have an easier time keeping the scans aligned. The wireless functionality has been easy to set up and reliable.It would be nice to have a second paper tray for envelopes. There's a single sheet feeder, but a second tray would be great.

I've run the tests and it's definitely a scan bar that is misaligned in the home position. It ranges between 0.25 to 0.38 inches out of alignment along the 11 inch edge. When you scan sheets on the glass platen, sometimes they actually come out straight. I can get away with how it scans, but I'm disappointed.

Put a new toner in on 10/9 and it is already telling me we are low. It also does not do a great job if printing pictures (jpeg). Prints darker that actual image. Also, if using blue pen on document, it doesn't pick it up without changing the settings to print each time.

Had I understood this going in, I might have looked for a different model.

Drum replacement notice came up after only a few months of use.I would rather pay more for a printer that lasts and takes nonbranded toner than be locked into Brother's high toner prices. Consumers arise!

There are still some features I haven't explored just yet, but I'll get there, and I'm quite sure I will remained just as please then as I am now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Printer, Scanner, Copier and Fax!!The MFC-L2750DW Brother Printer is excellent. It connected easily and you don't need to be a electronics expert to use it. The quality of the documents is excellent. It prints quickly, copies using the feed tray or flatbed, receives and sends faxes, scans having multiple layout choices including 2 sided-documents! The only improvement I can see is adding a speaker and microphone so you can hear if a regular call comes in on the fax and possibly speak to the caller. I really love this machine!

I get regular notices that a software update is available, but there are always connection problems that prevent the update from intalling. I've sent multiple complaints to Brother, but there has been no followup from the company. I've been sent many emails from Brother that ask me to review the product, but can't get beyond the first question, because their search engine can't find my MFC L2750DW. Very frustrating experience.

I love the high paper capacity and the touch screen makes it very easy to use. I was able to print right from my phone which I thought was a great feature. I loved how fast it is and the quality of the printed documents was excellent. I don`t have much use for the fax feature although I`m sure it would come in handy at some point. The only thing I wish was that it printed color as well. But as most of my printing needs don`t require color, it was sufficient. It was also more quiet than I expected.

I can send document from my iPhone to this printer. Print on both sides of paper is nice too. Print quality is very good. I don't know how long the starter toner cartridge will last. I also like the multiple pages scanning and scanning on both sides of document. There is only one minor complain is you cannot rearrange the order of scanned pages prior to saving it as pdf to your pc.

It will hold a whole ream of paper where the other only held a small stack at the back. I have been retired for 5 years so I only need it to print those wonderful things on the internet, LOL

This is best suited for small office printing or more serious home jobs, as many of its advantages lie in its speed, whether it be quick printing, quick scanning, or its simple/automatic document file management and straightforward wireless setup.If, however, you are using inkjet and looking to try laser printing, the price point on this unit is a little high, and cheaper laser printers will serve an "every-now-and-then" home printing situation just as well.All in all, this is an ideal printer if you are interested in one with these particular strengths.

I haven’t tried to set it up for WiFi communication so I can’t comment on that aspect of setup or function but it was super simple to setup and hook up to my laptop and no hardship to be plugged in to print. So opted for that since I use this printer for my home office solely.

I generally use printers to print black and white anyway. I am not held hostage to keeping magenta, cayan from drying out so quickly just to print a black and white document. Biggest problem has been having to shut down and restart because it is disconnected from my home wi-fi after a couple of hours of inactivity.

I work from home and print from my computer and mobile devices often. My previous ink jet printer was slow, would disconnect from wi-if randomly, and frequently wouldn`t print. This printer has been great for printing numerous documents quickly and without any hiccups. It`s functionality is very impressive for being so compact. Most printers with the same capabilities seem to be almost double in size. Set up was a piece of cake. It comes fully assembled, so all you have to do is insert the toner cartridge. The Quick Setup Guide is very simple and easy to follow with lots of helpful pictures. It connected to our wi-if in seconds and hasn`t randomly disconnected once. I love that I can AirPrint from my Apple devices (IPhone, IPad) without having to download anything or jump through any hoops. The touch screen is easy to use without a ton of bells and whistles. The design is clean and functional. It has everything I need without being overly complicated. I think anyone would be able to set it up and print even if they aren`t tech savvy. I`ve also been impressed with its durability. I have two children under 4 years old who can dismantle and break anything. Thus far, they haven`t managed to phase it. I knew Brother made great printers but I`ve still been impressed, to say the least. The price seems to be right in the middle of the spectrum for similar printers. The quality is definitely worth what you pay for this printer. My only complaint is the replacement cost of the toner, but it prints more pages. I was actually spending more on ink for my ink jet over time, I just didn`t have to pay as much upfront. The hassle of not having to buy more ink and changing cartridges frequently will pay off quickly. I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone looking for a fast, efficient, easy to use laser printer!

ASSEMBLY: I found the set up of this printer very easy and user friendly. I`d say it took approximately 15 minutes to unbox and go through the simple 10 step process (including setting up WiFi).STABILITY: This machine is a bit bulky but it`s a workhorse! I`m a school teacher at a Title I school and we have one printer shared with the entire school so needless to say, there are many things I print from home for my classroom. I love how quickly the pages print and love that I can print things from my mobile phone as well. I also have Epson and HP printers, but I prefer to use the Brother printer when I need to print several pages because of the speed.PROBLEM: The price seems reasonable, however, I feel that replacing the drum may be an issue because of the price point. With that being said, they do indicate that you can get 12,000 pages (1 page/job) out of the drum so that may offset the price.Overall, I`m satisfied with this product and plan to continue to use this for my multi-page printing needs.

Setting up the wifi was tricky but only because my internet provider hadn't given me the correct password. Once that was solved it was easy to use and extremely reliable. Best printer I've ever had and no longer the expensive hassle of inkjet cartridges drying up and ruining the printhead, thus not being usable when most needed. I LOVE IT!!!

With that being said, the quality and functionality is poor and I'm disappointed by it. Have had Brother products in the past with no issues. Even when scanning a one-sided page there is plenty of artifact and even "bleed through." Bad when scanning two sided pages. I have not had this problem with other scanners.

So basically selecting the Tray 1 in the printer driver configuration window doesn't work. The printer changes to manual feed. I'm guessing it's a software issue, but it could be something else.

We run a midsize office and this is the first time we`ve had a `connected printer`. Being able to send documents to be printed over WiFi is amazing. So much easier in terms of setup than those old printers.Quality is great and from sending a doc to printing to print takes merely 10 seconds. Additionally, vs. our old printer, this once is much more quiet.The printer can also work with a dedicated app, meaning that we can just send documents to be printed/faxed directly from the mobile. Super convenient and I had no idea how useful this can be until I started using it. Makes life much easier.The only improvement I can suggest is in the driver download - the website given on the quickstart instructions is not as user friendly as I would expect and feels somewhat archaic. A refresh of UI/UX won`t harm.Last - sometimes the printer will take 2 papers at a time. This is a common problem with printers but I would expect it to be somehow resolved by now.Bottom line: warmly recommend this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great unless you plan to print envelopes oftenThis would be a 5 star review except for 2 things- the envelope printing process requires you to open the back panel, lower two tabs, insert envelope in the front feeder, print envelope, then raise tabs and close the back. So don't plan to set this up with the back against a wall, like I did. Second, setting up the wireless printing was unnecessarily complicated, with multiple conflicting instructions and apps, but it works smoothly now.

I have to print checks from the tray to keep them aligned. I'm not a fan of the touch screen. It is very small and hard to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for everyoneThe problem is........we change from plain paper to letterhead to checks. You can only feed one sheet at a time from the drop down feeder. To load a stack of checks to print, you have to load them in reverse order. This just doesn't work for us.It prints just fine and scans perfectly - it just doesn't work for us since we change paper type so frequently.I love Brother printers by the way so I will order a printer and a seperate scanner.

I have only purchased Brother printers since forever. My toner with other printers lasted 4 months or so. I will rethink this when I have to purchase a multi-function machine again. May not go Brother again. Sorry.

I have always used inkjet printers for my needs at home but I have some experience with laser printers for work. This printer exceeded my expectations and really has made my life easier.EASE OF USE: The printer was virtually ready to go out of the box. The packaging was form fitted well and came out of the box easy enough that I didn`t need a second pair of hands to get it out. Once I took off the protective wrapping my computer had no problem finding and connecting to the printer.DESIGN: The printer had a boxy yet sleek design. The buttons and touchscreen was easy to use. Paper feeders and toner cartridge door were easy and intuitiveVERSATILITY:The printer has several neat features. The one I found most useful was the ability to easily print on both sides of the paper. Companion apps for your phone and computer make printing/faxing/scanning an easy task.FEATURES: Scanning for both one or two sides of the sheet without having to physically turn the paper. Scan directly to file. Fast printing speed.DRAWBACKS: It`s a laser printer so you obviously can`t print in color. Overall, I think this printer is a quality unit and is worth the investment.

And since I rarely printed in color, there was no need for me to have a printer that did print in color. The switch from cartridges to toner was best for me. I researched the best laser printers for home use and the Brother model I have was one of the highest rated models and the price was very affordable. So I bought the Brother MFC-L2750DW and I have been very satisfied.

In today's economy it is almost a requirement to have the ability to fax in order to transmit info to a company for Warranty , Insurance & other needs.I previously did not have the ability for multi page feed which comes in handy when needed. The multi function on this printer are great in comparison to my other Laser Printers

This Brother Printer, while still being desk size, can still hold lots of paper.It was extremely easy to install. You mostly just follow the instructions to set it up, and connect it to your computer. If you don`t have a DVD reader, it`s pretty straightforward to install the driver from the Brother website, as instructed in the Quick Set Up guide.After being installed, the printer turns on in less than a second.Compared to former models (I actually have a 2012 all-in-one color Brother printer, I`m amazed by the speed it prints documents. Every type of document I`ve printed so far were of excellent quality (B&W printer only). The colors are well represented in grayscale. However, quality of pictures is good, not fantastic, as it`s a little pixelated. But as it`s a B&W printer, not sure you`d really be printing a lot of photo-quality from it.I`ve installed, as instructed, the app on my phone and can easily print documents from it.I`ve also printed from another computer, without any driver, and it was as easy to find it on my wifi network, and print.It was as easy and straighforward to scan with Brother iprint&scan, all in color. The interface is very logical to understand. The only problem I had was to be able to scan small documents to their exact size.In conclusion, this printer is great for home and small-business use if you`re OK with B&W only.

Debated about switching to laser because of cost of cartridges but found my ink jet was costing far more and always not printing well when 1 of 5 needed replacement.

I was early able to scan a 4” double sided binder of documents into a searchable PDF document, in just a few minutes. Very impressed, I continue to scan paperwork everyday. As a printer, it puts out very crisp black and white documents.

The first one was economical and ran well for years--a real work horse. The last one was more temperamental and didn't last as long. This one drinks toner like it's going out of style and at the price of Brother toner, it costs way too much to operate. I'm forced to try secondary market toner and if, as Brother warns, it damages the printer, I'll toss the printer and buy another brand.

We would waste so much ink just trying to get a decent print after having not used the printer in a while. This printer fixed that problem. Also, I bought this to be able to use with iPads etc. and the printer is not recognized by our iPad (latest models. Just ridiculous.

OVERALL: A solid choice for scanning and monochrome printing needs for small offices. Easy setup and broad feature set (including duplex scanning) in a small footprint makes this a useful addition to the workplace. My favorite highlights are the document feeder, duplex scanning and responsive touchscreen interface.SETUP: It`s light compared to other MFC machines I`ve used in the past. So taking it out of the box and situating it in the office was easy. Setup instructions are simple enough. Use the touchscreen for easy wifi connectivity, then pop the DVD into your computer to get it running. No issues with getting it scanning and printing in no time.SCANNER: Document feeder is performing well. A little trouble separating pages that were folded together, but not out of the norm. Duplex scanning speed is decent, but don`t expect high speed throughput for duplex color scans. Resolution options will probably satisfy almost 99% of office needs. One point of annoyance on the scanner interface, though, is that it now feels more difficult to toggle duplex scanning on and off when starting a scan from the machine. I used to have direct options to duplex scanning and now it seems buried in the interface a little too inconveniently.PRINTING: It`s fast and monochrome. Again, resolution will satisfy 99% of office needs (absent color printing needs). No spotting, but it`s a brand new cartridge and drum I`m using thus far. I think a good review of printing function requires much longer term use since most printers exhibit their issues further into their lifespans. So all I can say now is so far so good.TOUCHSCREEN: It`s on the small side (not good for wide fingers), but it`s a vast performance improvement from prior generations I`ve used. It`s much more responsive and actions are more readily available once you load documents onto the feeder.SOFTWARE: The software that goes onto the PC is easier to use than that prior generation. However, running into a little trouble setting up new defaults for the printer/scanner settings. May just be because I`m not used to the new software just yet. Also, since I have older MFCs running in the office as well, I now have to use two different software interfaces - one for this printer and one for the older models.OTHER: There are a few other things to explore that sound pretty interesting, but I haven`t needed to try them yet. For example, there is now an app that you can scan to and cloud connectivity directly from the machine. I can see these additional features adding to productivity as well.

However, when i immediately print only 10 pages of the same file, the gray background disappears. This is disappointing because I have purchased two (2 of the same printers. It is a waste of money. I did not experience this issue with a former Brother printer that i had for 10 years.

What's worse: when I tried to reinsert the print rollers assembly I could not get it back in. I still don't have a solution. The audio on looking for stuck paper simply says to "reinsert" the roller assembly, but does not discuss what to do if that process is not sliding it in.

Native scanning interface has a rather small window to use for cropping, with somewhat limited options. Also it defaults to 100 dpi for every scan. I usually want at least 300 dpi. Did not try FAX.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I acquired this printer a couple weeks ago and I must say, it has been one of the best printers I have ever owned. I love how fast it prints and the wireless printing feature is really convenient. This printer features a copier, scanner and fax machine. When I used the copier, it was efficient and produced very accurate copies. When I used the scanner, the images came out very clear and legible. I did not use the fax machine as I haven`t any need for it yet. My favorite feature would have to be the wireless printing feature. There is an app that allows me to print from my mobile device that I really find convenient. This app also allows you to keep track of toner levels as well as scan and fax from your mobile device. Assembly for this printer was a breeze as it comes with a quick start guide that gives you the basic steps for getting this printer set up. Even setting up the wireless capabilities of this printer was easy with the directions provided. Connecting this printer to a desktop computer only requires a USB A/B cable and the software disk provided which allows you to install the driver for this printer; so installation was smooth. However, It did not come with the USB A/B cable in the box, so I had to use one from my previous printer. Compared to printers I`ve had in the past, this printer blows them out the water. The features are more concise and efficient than previous printers I have owned and I just love the color touchscreen component that this printer offers. I would say that this printer has exceeded my exceptions and I plan on using it well into the future. I really don`t have anything bad to say about this printer other than the fact it`s quite heavy. Overall, Excellent printer and I would recommend this printer to my family and friends.

The Brother MFC-L2750DW is a small compact all in one that will satisfy most if not all of the needs of a home user or small business owner. It has a small nice design and footprint that should help save space on your desk, but don`t let the size fool you. This machine includes all of my must have features and more. When I purchase an all in one I look for several things. Toner options, price, duplex printing, auto document feeder, large paper tray, networkable (wired and wireless), fast prints and easy maintenance. This machine includes everything on my list. It has a large 250 sheet paper tray, 100 sheet output tray and a 50 sheet auto document feeder. An easy to read 2.7" color screen, full duplex printing, wired, wireless networking and your standard USB interface. Fast 36 prints per minute, including what I found to be a very fast first page print. Something else that I always look for are multiple toner options. This machine will come with a standard size (700 pages) toner, but when time comes to purchase new toner you choose between 3 options, TN-770 4500 Pages Extra High Yield, TN-760 3000 Pages High Yield and TN-730 1200 Pages Standard toner. Not many machines will offer the option of an Extra High Yield toner cartridge. I found setup to be a breeze on my Windows 10 machine. Scanning, printing and copying was fast and easy and the print quality is wonderful. The screen might be too small for some users, but I had no trouble using it and moving through the options and menus. When you look at everything this machine offers, it should be a no brainer.

This is faulty. It tells us we have to replace the ink where the is still a ton of ink in them (we've bought 3 replacements in less than 6 months of high yield. Yet the printer will lock up and you CANNOT PRINT once it "thinks" it is low. This is a huge waste of money as we are literally throwing away cartridges with a good amount of toner left in them and you cannot bypass this. It judges it based off page count not how much ink is used and even if you "reset" the page count it will still prevent you from printing. We are very frustrated and wish we had gone with a different brand.

I never could get it to recognize my default email even after 3 lengthy calls to Brother and 2 to Microsoft. It said in the pre-purchase materials that it would work for this purpose. I had used this option with my older Brother printer until I updated to Windows 10 and Brother didn't offer a download to use it with that program. After several days of trying I returned it. Otherwise the printer worked very well.

I've also dealt with stained fingers, ruined carpet from ink, paying a "fee" for a software code etc. This printer changed my mind. It's fast, quiet, has tight 600 dpi quality and as a laser printer, no messy hands! It was ez to set up, and is reachable by other computers in my home flawlessly."

It was very easy to set up and install on the network, and it has remained reliably connected for the weeks that I have had it. It's amazingly silent and fast and print quality is excellent. Copy and scan functions are also excellent although it would be handy if there was a reminder which way up to load originals for copying or scanning into the feeder. The delivered toner cartridge ran out very quickly but it was great that its replacement came from Amazon without my having to order it. All in all, I'm happy to give the printer five stars on all counts.

I have checked out almost every capability including printing (on both sides), faxing, scanning and copying, all of which worked with no problems. This device is a little noisy compared to my older Brother printer but it's not so noisy as to be a bother. It's a great laser b&w printer.

I've watched the actual components decline in quality over the years but accepted that they were producing quality but needed a profit as well. This time was failed electronics and that was just a game changer for me. It's the dependability of technology that I need in my business and this printer did not even work out of the box, online troubleshooting consummed hours of time only to be told to call the desk - the imaginary desk that never has a human at it. After a few hours of games on the phone I put it back in the box and picked up a similarly priced hp all in one locally. Good-bye Brother I'll miss you and your quirks.

We cleaned it with alcohol, as the manual recommends, but there is still a faint line there. It's odd that the line showed up, straight out of the box. Other than that annoying issue, I like this product very much. It's nice to have a laser printer that is reasonably priced but prints like a business quality printer.

The print cartridge uses printer powder, the H.P. used office jet ink. The inkjet requires use often or dries in the print head running the printer. The powder stays powdery.

Good software features, especially scan to PDF, and "Continue Scanning" when you can't use the sheet feeder. My favorite feature is the ability to use WIFI to print from my phone.The instructions were clear and easy the follow and the printer was very easy to assemble.I find the use of Wifi is highly desirable and surpasses printers without. I only suggest that the software includes the ability to preview scans before hand.

It fits nicely atop a filing cabinet.Assembly: There was a lot of plastic to strip away from the printer upon opening. Each piece had to be inspected to ensure that no plastic remained. Once the plastic was off, the rest of the printer assembly was easy. The manual did not need to be consulted.Use: The printer works fast and prints well. It only prints in black and white, not in color. The noise level of the printer is higher than anticipated. The scanner scanned fast and wirelessly uploaded to my computer with no issue.Wifi: Without consulting the instructions, I originally thought that the connection to the wifi would be automatic. However, once I pressed a few buttons, the wifi on the system was able to detect my home`s network easily. I have been able to print wirelessly with no problems.Price: The price of the printer seems a little higher than average. However the speed of the printer along with the crispness of the print makes it a decent purchase.

We actually had an older version of this printer, and decided to upgrade. We used to have ink jet printers, and it was so difficult to change out the ink every time you needed a different color. With the laser printer, it is one cartridge. It is cheaper than an ink jet, which is very helpful, and doesn`t dry out which is perfect for home printing. We will print a ton of stuff, then we won`t print for a couple weeks. Which makes this printer perfect for our family.It is a very fast at printing, even with the double sided option.The touchscreen is nice - although wish it was larger.I would like the printer itself to be smaller in actual desk top space, but to be able to do everything this printer does, it can`t be that small.We do the copy/scan into PDF option often, which is nice to email to people. The application on your computer is a bit confusing, but once you figure out how to use it, it is not that bad.I do recommend this printer, as an every day printer for a family.

Also easy to connect to WiFi and print directly from any devices, including cell phones. Just wish there was a way to program it to scan/copy 2-sided, or at least I haven’t been able to figure out how to enable this feature if it is already available, in which case it would be nice if the instructions on how to enable this feature were more prevalent. Overall very satisfied with this product and feel it’s perfect for my use as a home office multi-function printer.

My only issue has been with the single sheet feeder. It almost always comes out slightly crooked no matter how I adjust the feeder guides. It would also be nice if you could put more than one sheet in the feeder. Also, buyers should know that the toner cartridge that ships with the printer is very small--you might as well buy a toner cartridge at the same time that you buy the printer.

I followed the installation instructions to the letter and the printer worked fine - one exactly one day. Then it caused some issues that caused my computer to boot up improperly. I know this because I ended up calling the manufacturer and they uninstalled the software and reinstalled it three separate times before it operated correctly. On the fourth time, it "took".Having said that, once installed it seems to work very smoothly and the print quality is very good. The only other issue was that the instructions for installing the cartridge could have been a little better because it wasn't as intuitive as it might have been. other than these issues, I am happy.

Have scanned, printed and copied with no issues so far, have only owned it for 2 months. It is also low on noise. It is next to my PC and I can still carry a conversation over the phone while it is printing.

Everything has been working flawlessly since then. I am very pleased with this product. The noise isn't a distraction, as other's mentioned. When it is not working it seems to sleep and is perfectly quite... but wakes up with my command.

Also note: it will NOT work with 5g networks...only 2G. So I have to use a 2G network for my laptop if I ever want to print anything. Very very frustrating.

The stand alone scanni g software is simple to use from our variety of platforms. I may sound like fake news but I am a 79 year old who just wants everything to work as expected. Laser is always there for you and Brother makes a good product. Set up instructions were clear. Cust support was excellent to help me nail down my wifi set up Q's. I will need to call them back to assist with hooking my non-wifi desktop up with this great printer. I've had it for 5 months so far and so far so good! My friend now owns one too and loves it.

The scanned document is leaning a bit. Printing a color picture results in mediocre black and white results and I’ve see much better results from other laser printers. Printing a document yields good results. I did not test the fax feature.

Paperport SE14 is no real improvement either and can be very annoying. Difficult to cancel a scan and if you prescan and select an area, you must drag the boundaries back to full page manually for next full page scan. Doesn't do that automatically. Envelopes still wrinkle and have been doing so for years! In total, there are just enough changes to force the purchase of new toner cartridges and a learning curve on Paperport SE14. After 20+ years using Brother MFC's, I may have to look elsewhere.

It's supposed to wake up when it receives a job, but mine usually won't. I have to go to the printer and physically turn it off and then back on to re-establish a connection. Annoying. I've tried the network connection repair tool and re-installed the printer three times. Still, it keeps the connection and works fine until it enters the deep sleep mode, and then I have to go into the next room to wake it up.

I am very happy with this printer. I has so many features and doesn`t take up a ton of space. It is very easy to set up, both the printer itself and the connection to my computer. It gives you two options to set up, one with a CD, along with downloading it from the site (just in case you don`t have a CD drive. I love how it is wireless and there`s no need for cords! One of the best features it has is the printed paper holder, so the paper doesn`t go everywhere when it prints out. It gathers it underneath the scanner.

The "Print Unable 09" message displayed and it cannot be resolved. Replaced the appropriate/specified components, and the failure persists. Online support through the support app is not a satisfactory experience. So, I can only say I am quite dissatisfied with this Brother printer and the sparse online resource(s to address this absolute performance debilitating issue.

However first time I had to change the toner I discovered what a pain it is. Very easy to drop in new toner cartridge but took over an hour with chat and finally phone support to get printer to accept it was new. My work uses Brother printers and they rarely have an issue. I purchased a Brother printer for home and was able to set it up with out support. We set up multiple was to scan and print and have had no issues. Documents can be scanned to our emails or to a computer. I set presets for different things so that anybody in the house can easily use it or so certain tasks can be done repeatedly. I set a preset to scan files to a location. Now we scan our mail almost everyday and no longer have piles of mail on the filing cabinet waiting to be filed. It is awesome what you can do we your printer is not against you.

My DCP 7065 DN is still in use in my office, but had to buy another when working remotely. The MFC-L2750DW is very similar, but has fax and wireless features. Much quicker than the DCP. I am now a 2 printer office! Love your products and would NEVER go back to HP or any other brand on a bet.

I tried the software to fix the racked scans. I was surprised they even had software to help address this problem.

I chose the Brother MFC-L2750DW, and am very happy with it so far. Printing is pretty fast, if not like the big laser printers we had at my former office, and the text is crisp. The scanning is easy, including for multi-page documents, and the Printer/PC connection has been excellent.

I have not had this product for three weeks and the ink is already out? My last Dell could go 6 months on a cartridge. Surprised and hoping that It came with just enough ink to get you going? Haven’t even printed 300 pages yet? The scanning is much slower than I am used to. It’s quiet and we will see how it holds up since I was told this was one of the best Brother makes.

I especially like its ability to scan my documents and turn them into PDFs. Very happy with the choice I made.

I'm able to set up tasks and not have to select the folder where I want the scan to go each time. The picture isn't amazing, but definitely fine for what I need. I do print a lot and so far so good. When I go to print on legal size it does get jammed sometimes. All in all I'm happy.

I have been pleased with quality performance and durability of both MFC- L2700 series units. I found it easy to install and the wireless connection to my WIFI network was instant. This newer L2750DW is a faster printer with a larger viewer panel in color with icons. I also use the additional features such as scan and faxing often. As an author of three novels, two screenplays, and numerous other writing projects, a reliable printer is a must. Printer downtime for any reason can cause a string of "writer's block" disasters. Outside of stopping for the infrequent purchase for a new cartridge, these Brothers never missed a deadline. My go-to printer for the past nine years is Brother.

The price for this machine was so much cheaper than a comparable HP but I guess you get what you pay for. I've wasted so much time trying to receive faxes. Prior to my current work client I rarely used my fax but lately that has changed. If you don't need to receive faxes, then no problem. It sends fine.Aside from that, it's a bit noisy and the print quality isn't quite as sharp as my HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some frustrationI was startled to find that the unit blocks me from using any print or copy functions when the unit has been triggered to say a new cartridge is needed, much earlier than necessary. I cannot have a unit stop functioning in my small business office without any clear guidance about clearing the alert so it would work again; it took an hour of trial and error through different menus to find the right toggle to turn off the alert. It then has continued to print fine on the same cartridge. It feels a bit like manipulation trying to force my hand to buy a cartridge when it was not needed. As for other functioning, we have been pleased with the print and copy quality. The fax related menus don't seem to be the most user-friendly, in terms of knowing if the fax is sending, etc.

Of particular use are the flexible scanning options, which can be controlled either from the printer itself or from the computer, and the double-sided printing feature. I do wish the touch panel were bigger. Too easy to fat finger the buttons since it is so small. Printer did start asking for new toner about 3 months ago. I have taken it out and shaken gently and haven't replaced it yet. : One year in. I don't print a ton, but enough to have gone through several reams of paper in the year.Printing 2-sided is pretty slow. Scanning to email...sweet!

Printing is crisp and fast, and scanning and copying are fast and easy. My two gripes are the crooked scans and copies when the document feeder is used, and the fact that the printer completely locks up when it says the toner needs to be replaced. I would love to see both of these aspects addressed in future models. Why not take the product from great to fantastic?

This requires click, click, click, enter page or pages, then click again. Quite annoying when I have to download hundreds of specific pages. The machine itself is quite good. I have 2 of them and a 2740.

Seems sturdy, like the B/W only, scanning works well, screen easy to read/activate, reliable so far, BUT the toner ran out after a little over 2 months with low-moderate home use. One of the big reasons for moving away from HP was ink cartridge tyranny. Hoping that the manufacturer-provided toner cartridge was low yield and that we haven't swapped inkjet for toner cartridge tyranny.

Brother did send us a new drum which corrected the problem. The issue now is that we are changing toners about every three weeks. So economically this was certainly not the right printer for us.

I am overall happy with the performance of the printer but did not realize the additional power draw of the Laser Jet over a Ink Jet and that the print speed is slower. This printer when copying actually makes my overhead light flutter.

The only "issue" we have encountered is manufacture (Brother toners not lasting the projected life expectancy. They run into problems after about half the number of copies. Disappointing.

We finally disconnected our wifi extender and it eventually started working properly. Have had no problems since. Otherwise love the printer when it is working.

Although we also have a new, wonderful Epson ink tank color printer, the Brother MFC-L2750DW is the one we use most often for every day black/white printing. It performs those functions perfectly, with the added bonus of scanning, copying, and occasional faxing. All in all, especially for the price, this is an outstanding printer.

Considering the amount of options out there, I was a bit intimidated, afraid to buy/invest in the wrong one. But I can say with full confidence that my purchase of the Brother-MFC-L2750DW was the right one - it was easy to set up, connect to my home wifi and laptop, and there have been no hiccups with it's performance, and I've had it for 6 months. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn't have a large amount to print (I'm printing 3-5 pages a week, but who needs to scan items as attachments (I use this function 12+ times/week) and who needs a copier on occasion. It's not a high-volume printer/scanner, it's definitely a home office machine, but it's been a great investment for me.

The printer also has a scanner function that can scan 2 sided documents. I like having the copy function to be able to copy personal as well as business documents right from my own home office. This machine has made my work from home office much more functional.

It replaced another brand laser printer that was a bit quirky and broke apart after 5 years. So far, I love the printer. But I'm terrifically disappointed in how much life we got from the toner cartridge that came with it. It's been 11 days since we installed the printer and it already says it's out of toner. I don't know how many pages we've printed, but it sure doesn't seem like enough to have used up an entire cartridge. Very stunned by that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problematic setupI wanted to set this printer up by connecting directly to my home network and router via internet cable, but despite the so-called "troubleshooting" and "help" that Brother offers specific to this problem, I could never make it work. I set it up via WI-FI, which seems to work OK - a little slow, but it at least works. The 600 dpi printing results don't seem to measure up either. Maybe 300 dpi is about what it's generating. In short, it's an adequate machine, but setup is not quick and easy and the printing results are iffy.

It was easy to set up and the replacement was seamless for the functions that I care about. I can print from the computer, from the printer, or from my iPhone. What more could you ask for. The quality is very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too many bugs.Very unhappy with this product. I purchased it because I started a job that requires printing out a lot of documents at home. My previous Samsung printer did not have a large paper tray. This printer has given me nothing but trouble from the start. For one thing, it is very, very slow. More frustrating is that it occasionally just stops altogether. Right now it is dead in the water. I have no idea what is going on. I did get a message recently about updating the software. Software??? I'm sorry, but I was extremely happy with my dumb old Samsung that never stopped working. I guess it had no software. I would not recommend this product. It has too many bugs.

I particularly like the duplex printing--very helpful and cost saving because you don't use as much paper. Another great feature is the wi-fi capability; I can just sit in my recliner and not have to get up and down and print whatever. One thing to remember when you buy a new toner--keep the little plastic tray that your old toner sits on because the new one will use it too. Maybe I should have realized that from the beginning, but I didn't. I am so glad that I purchased this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality, Easy Set-up, works PERFECTLY!This is a Fourth Brother Printer Purchase, works exactly as the other three and that's it always works, always reads the Doc properly and prints as shown on the screen, printed at least 125 sheets without a jam or issue. Have scanned hundreds of Doc's and worked perfectly. This printer may cost a bit more, but you get what you pay for and you can tell Brother produces a superior product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drops network ConnectionMy printer of this make and model is not quite four years old. After the first 18 months it started dropping network connections routinely. Particularly from our Macintosh laptops we would have to reboot the printer in order to print. This did not happen as much from my wife's work from home windows laptop. She frequently was able to print just by doing the normal printing command. It is so frustrating that we cannot print from our Macintosh laptops that we are replacing the printer even though physically it works just fine.

Brother is much better. My only complaint is the instructions for set up are terrible and it should be set up for wifi and wired at the same time. HP beats you hands down for set up instructions and wifi & wired.

Instead of wireless wi-fi connection to your network, you can choose to hook an ethernet cable connection to the printer instead. Choose one network connection type. Does not support both ethernet cable and wi-fi network at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall, a nice printer!I moved from a Lexmark color laser printer to this multi-function unit. Overall, this Brother MFC-L2750DW is performing quite well. It looks great and is fairly compact, taking up a relatively small footprint. Speed-wise, it's a bit slower than I'm used to; however the print quality is quite good. The installation process was so-so and I cannot for the life of me get the wireless connectivity working, so have to keep it tethered with the USB cord. Not a bad unit for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brothers Compact Laser All-in-One PrinterThis is my first home laser printer. I previously gravitated towards inkjet models. Since I'm still in learning mode, it may be too soon to give a five-star rating. It does far more than any of my previous models and, since it is only for home use, I may not ever take advantage of all its capabilities. My favorite feature is two-sided copying. What a plus! My only negative comment is that, even though I reprogrammed the printer density to its darkest setting, the final product is still lighter than I prefer. Otherwise, this all-in-one is performing beautifully and a great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scanner IssuesI bought this printer/scanner because the scanner on my previous machine (anHP) had stopped working, and I need a scanner daily for my home office. The scanner worked fine for about two weeks, and then the touchscreen stopped working and I had to scan by opening the app on the computer. Not a big deal, but frustrating. Now, about 50 percent of the time, the scanner does not successfully scan on the first attempt—the paper runs through the feeder, but the message appears “problem scanning. Please try again.” So I have to feed the documents back through the scanner—sometimes multiple times—before the scan actually succeeds and I can save it. The printer works fine, had a decent speed, and the cartridges, while pricey, last a pretty long time. In fact, from the time I got the “toner is getting low” message, I got at least 200 more copies that were fine. When the toner was actually insufficient, it stopped printing, so don’t change your cartridge till that happens.

I bought it because of good experience with the nice graphics and convenient duplex scanning of a previous Brother printer. The one problem I had was with envelope printing. Inserting an envelope would cause a "Jam inside" error even though there was no paper jam. Brother replaced the printer for me, and the new one is less finicky. From scanning online reviews, I see that the problem is not uncommon.
